Subaru WRX STI 2016 FA20 Emissions

Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I am wondering does anyone know what tax band the 2016 WRX STI 2.0 litre FA20 EJ207 from Japan falls into?

I am looking into importing one but I don't think I could justify a tax band of €2400 a year. I know the 2.5 litre UK version has high emissions.

Thanks,
Sean

Thanks, after some more digging online I noticed the WRX STI isn't using the FA20 but instead it has the EJ207 which seems to produce c02 emissions of 247

Not good news I'm afraid...

2400 i believe...
But I think the WRX S4 falls into 1200 bracket...not sure tho

VRT will be 41% of the OMSP which you'll have to pay, which you could then appeal which with the right paper work is generally sucessful. Co2 on the WRX S4 will be the same as my Levorg. 790 tax per year.

Is it just the FA20 that has the more friendly tax rate?
Not sure but speaking from experience to VRT'ing the car and taxing my Levorg anyway. I think i have a page in the car of the emissions along with others which i could route out.
