Hi im after a subaru wrx sti v3-v6 or a sti type r

After a project preferably something with knocking engine!

Please drop me a pm with price and pic/details if you have something
 
What’s your budget roughly as at times buying a good one from JPN makes better sense.

I’m in the bucket that it make sense but was cheap at the start 🤣 then the spending never ends
 
Hard come by now in good nick,,, but to be fair, as said above, Japan probably your best option.
30 year old car gets vintage VRT rate too. Takes a lot of the sting from it
 
Surely get one needing a bit of work cheaper would you..?
I haven't been following classic prices at all really

40k must be including vrt
Can get an R Grade Type R from the auctions around the 20k mark and that's including shipping.
Even a 3.5 grade isn't that much more expensive.
They will all need work though, faded paint, worn out rubber seals, dents, scratches and bits of trim missing.
There a minimum of 26 years old now so have to be realistic about the condition, there generally better condition on the underside than anything at home but there are rusty examples in Japan to.

Either way, won't be too long til all Type R are €200 for VRT aswel

Its 40k plus for desirable models , blue v5 / v6 limiteds - thats what lads want
Yes you can get other models for half that but you can already get those here vrtd already and guys wont pay big money for them
Even some of the less wanted models make good money if low kms / good grade over there.
 
A very high km blue v6 2dr sold this morning in toyko for 4.3 million jpy / 23500 euro auction price alone
It had alot of mods which would keep the price down also
 
I know V5 or V6 Ltd is where the demand is... But if prices keep going like that, the normal Joe soap is out. Will mean the demand is gonna move down to V4s and 4 doors etc.
I'm never spending 40k on a car I'll drive once a week. Simple as that lol and I'm sure many more are in the same boat to be fair

They have been out of reach for a long time ,
Expensive cars , it’s nostalgia , realistically they are not worth that money unless you are really into it , is a dream car for you or they are very very clean and original.

A person that is aware of the value and has bought and sold a few that not necessarily hangs onto cars I would take the info with a pinch of salt
 
That's what I mean tho, and if they're out of reach, by effect they will probably make the lesser models more expensive as demand for those will rise.. Tis cruel. Lol
