Think you're right.

The real RA's had no electric windows, mirrors, A/C or sound systems, I think? I'm not too sure of the proper specs TBH. :ponder2: Maybe only the STI RA had roof vents, this is a WRX RA? Then again I thought RA's had low-rise boot spoilers as opposed to high? The ariel is in the right place though for an RA.

There were different models of RA's, the chassis number of this car matched up to WRX WRC Limited Edition which was released in 2000,

My brother got information from Chris Rees Book all about Impreza Turbos which lists the chassis numbers of all the different models.

Chris Rees is the Editor of Japanese Performance magazine and has written extenisively on Imprezas.

There is so many variations on RA's, its hard to keep up..
Last WRX RA i seen had Roof hatch, black mirrors, no side skirts or rear spats, im nearly sure it had DCCD aswell but it wasnt a limited run or anything.

2000- Version 6

"Once again there were limited edition Version VI Imprezas. These were: WRX Sti Version Vi Limited saloon (2,000 units), WRX RA Limited saloon (1,000 units), WRX Sti Version VI Limited coupe (1,000 units) and WRX Sti Version VI Limited sports wagon (500 units). These all featured Rays 16 inch alloy wheels, an exclusive instrument panel, aluminium pedals, Sti titanium gear knob (Except RA Limited), serial number plaque, 'cherry red' emblem (except WRX RA which was black), and 'exclusive' body colour."


This car is the WRX RA Limited saloon which is very rare in Ireland, and comes standard with 280ps, it is very quick for a relatively standard car and like a poster above said is as quick as any Version 6 Sti or Type R. The chassis code of this car is GC8G47D if anyone wants to check it out more.

Got this email in relation to the car which is for sale, i reckon its a scam but i saw on DTDIRL recently where someone sold their Evo to someone in Poland, maybe it is genuine? Im very skeptical though.
