02' Bug 1.6 for sale Update: Relisted with new pics and updates
Updates:
Oil change and Filter last month, only about 400 miles on em
Work said, I am now not going to be driving out of town. lol At least not for a few months now. So I can bike or do public transport until the Leone is done... Imprezle back up for sale!
I'm in the market for something old, 1973-1979 Subaru Leone, so sadly until I get a garage, I can only keep one car at a time. It's not like in Missouri, where I had room for a stable of five Subarus!
I didn't intend on selling this so soon, but I found one in England that could be the car I'm looking for.
So here's my scooby:
My name: Ken Callaway
Price: 1500 for quicky sale
Miles: 114,000
NCT until: Oct 25 2014
Taxed: Up to date (Getting renewed at the end of April)
About the car:
I've owned it since Aug 2013 and have put around 3,000 miles on it and it hasn't missed a beat!
The guy I bought it from bought it from another ISDC member
Irish Market car (saves a %age during insurance time) vs 1.5/1.6s from Japan
Gets great fuel mileage, I only used 3/4 tank on a fairly spirited drive from Dublin to Galway and back
(Full fuel log from beginning of ownership)
Oriciari Bits:
-Rear Wing
-HID Oriciari/UK300 adjustable head lamps
-Side skirts
-VERY Clean and Tidy interior
Recent Maint: (I have log book and receipts since Aug)
-Wheels refinished in white
-Front Discs machined/ New pads
-New wipers
-New battery (Aug 2013)
-New Floor Mats
-Steam-cleaned interior (Nov 2013)
-Air Filter/Oil Filter/Oil
-New NGK spark plugs and wires
(probably more in log book that I've forgotten)
Could use:
O2 Sensor (pre-heater circuit is low enough that the light comes on after a bit, but still functions fine and passed NCT)
The tires may not pass NCT next winter
One of the rear reg lamps needs replaced
The dash clock stopped working
Body:
No rust
Engine bay is dusty, but clean (no grime/leaves/mud... they cause rust)
a couple of the usual small door dings
A scuff on the front bumper
A crack in the grill
a few scratches from neighbors cat in clear coat
one small dent in front left wing
a few scratches on left mirror
Over-all, this car is mechanically sound, dependable, clean and shifts smoothly and runs like a top. Could use a few minor fixes *listed above* And the ONLY reason I'm selling it is that I am in the market for something vintage.
Any other questions or pic requests, I can post em up. The only difference between the pics above and the current state is the wheels are still a bit dirty from the ISDC cruise in the Wicklow Gap a few weeks ago. But they'll come back to new with a bit of effort.
