'07 Hawkey STI for sale

Hi Everyone,

As some of you know I have been toying with the idea of selling my Hawk due to personal circumstances. I had kind of decided not to sell because of the soft market and put the car in storage for the coming year. She's coming off the road at the end of the month and decided I'll put up an advert here in the club in case a real enthusiast is looking for a clean one with a few sensible mods... No panic to sell as would keep her, but in case someone is looking for a well sorted clean car...

Description:
2007 Black Hawkeye 2.5 STI
- Approx 44k miles
- Recently painted carbon colour original 17" alloys with Eagle F1s (bit of life left in them)
- There's a second set of OEM alloys in carbon (good condition, but not recently painted) with almost new winter tyres
- Rear window spoiler
- Two keys
- FSH
- Double DIN touch screen stereo with Bluetooth hands-free phone kit and can play DVDs
- I'm the 2nd owner (1st in Ireland).

Upgrades fitted:
- Set of ProSport Touch gauges in centre pod (oem colour and surrounds)
- Whiteline Anti Lift kit
- Perrin solid droplinks front and back with poly bushings (not the spherical bearing type as they are too harsh on the road)
- Low rise WRX spoiler to maintain more low key look
- Zunsport stainless grill (looks like RB320 - I do have the factory black grill in case someone prefers that)
- Full Stainless Exhaust - Cobra 200 cell high flow cat which easily passed NCT and is wrapped and sealed for improved Bhp and torque, H&S centre section with resonator and Cobra TP48 backbox.
- K&N panel filter
- RCM340 uprated fuel pump
- Bob Rawle remap for RON95 - graph shows 326Bhp / 538Nm (397 lbs/ft in old money) and power starts coming in early at about 2600rpm, max torque @ 3400Rpm and max bhp @ 5400Rpm. It's mapped using ECUtec RaceROM so have two maps, one @1bar and the figures above are for the 2nd map @1.3bar.

Service Info:
- Last service was a couple of hundred miles ago and apart from new filters and oil also got new Yellow Stuff front pads.
- Previous service got Yellow Stuff rear pads and diff and gearbox oil changed with Millers CRX 75w90 NT Competition fully synthetic transmission oil, a complete brake system fluid flush with Motul RBF 600 Factory Line racing brake fluid.
- While I have had her she only got Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 5W-40 Ester Synthetic Engine Oil.
- Timingbelt done at 28k miles and there is a fully stamped book with all the service history which clearly shows it was well minded.

Bad bits - not a lot, but just to be 100% above board:
- there's a minor dent in the driver's door (for the right price I'll get it mended and shouldn't cost more than €200 I was told by the local shop)
- rear shocks need to be re-greased, again not a dear job.
- boot spring is a bit strong as is one for the big spoiler - there are several members who'd swap springs when they installed the big spoiler, just didn't get round to meeting up with one of them yet.

Price
-- the car landed before the mods was €17.5k and spent over €3k on mods for parts and map alone, so plus labour probably close to 22k. This was in Apr/May 2013. I know I am going to take a big hit on it if I let her go now - Make me a decent offer, taking into account what she stands me and what the market is like...

You would be mad to sell considering the other blue that's for sale for 12.5 k

Put it into storage or sell back to the uk and get your vrt back

Johnny is spot on the money charles , terrible situation you find yourself in but id hold out as long as possible and sell back to uk as johnny said as last resort ,

Shame :new_puppy_dog_eyes:

Put a minimum acceptable price on it or you'll end up wasting your own time getting offers of €10k.

I drove this car recently really tight nice driving car set up very well for quick B road fun a credit to the owner

Glwts

@Ciaran: thanks fella... I deffo would miss her if she sold and would buy one back in 1-2 years.

@Rob: Maybe right, need to think about it. Another clean one went up last week at €12.5k with less miles, but a year older and not mapped for RON95 or any of the other mods listed. I know what I'd like to get back, but whether I'd get it is another thing.

@Johnny & Tommy: Thought about selling back to the UK, but should be worth the same here from numbers I looked at -- just a case of finding the right person ;-) . Wouldn't let it go at the same price as the blue one though. Don't get me wrong that's a really nice and clean car too and a few less miles, but mine is a year newer and some good mods that shouldn't turn people off (SS exhaust, gauges, RCM340 fuel pump, mapped for Irish fuel) and just had all new pads and all fluids changed etc.
