1.6 Brakes

I drive a 2002 1.6 Impreza and was just wondering whats the biggest discs i can put on the front using the stock calipers, or how much work would have to be done to put the sti brembo calipers and discs on???
Any help appreciated!!!

First of all tell us if you have any modifications done already?
If your car is standard you don't really need to upgrade the brakes unless your doing it for the looks?
Is there disks at the back?

Cheers man, Its mainly for looks because the car is at show standard. I'd like to put them on the back as well because the back is still on drums but i was told this was a big job so i'll be happy if i can at least do the front. I have the calipers painted red but its just not that impressive with the standard discs.

The cheapest option would probably be a second hand set of Subaru 4 Pots and discs... but it's an expensive mod just for looks :dunno:

will your wheels clear the Brembo's? a lot of effort just for looks like
 
What about just upgrading the discs, will the stock front calipers take bigger discs, or even just drilled and grooved ones???
