2002 IRISH WRX IMPREZA - COMPLETELY STANDARD!!!

What's your point???

Front wheels always wear more to rear due to braking and steering. So why would you think there was anything wrong with that comment in ad???

Hi Joey... I think he's in Germany till Friday evening. He's around Saturday AFAIK... and there is a lad due out to look at it Sat morning. Send him a text and I'm sure he'll get back to you over the next day or so.

That's fair enough. You are right, front wheels do tend to wear more. That is why it is advised to rotate all wheels ~8000 KMs or so (depending on driving style)
My point is that thread difference cannot be huge otherwise it is not healthy for diffs and if he has/had a new set of front tyres and and old set on rear - that's not good.
At least this is what I learned from 'the books'...

Other than that - All the best luck with the sale! (Honestly)

I think your are over reacting a bit.

different if running different tyre and/or wheel sizes all round yes can understand.

but tyre thread differences between 3-8mm?

really?

So you are saying there is no impact, no additional force on diffs, mainly the middle one?
Well, alright. I am not technical enough to argue. It's just what I've read from with in Subaru forums. Even different thread pattern is bad thing. Not a killer, but not recommended.

Sorry for OTing on Sale post... Just discussing on a matter, because interesting to hear opinions on this forum
