2003 jdm blobeye importing for japan info needed

Hi all, I've finally managed to source an impreza for myself. Sourced in it Japan and it's the one for me. One or two questions though. I know they come with manual and auto water spray and the engines are a bit stronger than the UK models, uprated crank and higher top end on the revs due to the better fuel over there. But do they come with dccd as standard and is getting them de limited and re mapped much of a job. I know it was a nightmare with my jdm legacy but I'm presuming things have improved.

Super stuff. But I thought they had some sort of nitrous infused cross drilled crank job

Excellent info. I would stick up a few pix.but I'm keeping it close to my chest until the deal is done for obvious reasons

Re: 2003 jdm blobeye

now the next question is for all you tax buffs, importing on japan, the taxes are 23% vat and 8% import duty on the invoice for the car. is that correct? its been a year or two since i've imported a car for myself.
so €1000 invoice will carry 310 tax, is that correct?

Eu duty is now 10%... Vat is as you said 23% on the total cost so cost of car+ shipping and insurance and maybe 300 quid on handling and port

What a shower of government ment f**k monkeys. So it's 330 for every 1000. Ya sorted for a customes broker just wanted to know what the tax rates are. Cheers all
