Hi Niall,

Yeh I'm enjoying my new TT. I have a few power upgrades planned in the future with a Revo Technik remap by Martin Tracey in Westward but I have to wait for my first service which isnn't for another 10,000 miles. The remap will give her 240 ps and 350 nm on 95ul with no mods and no octane booster so she'll be properly fast then. TBH she's surprisingly quick now as70 % of its made from aluminium, so it weighs the same as a VW polo with a 200bhp engine. In-gear times are on a par with my old ecu telks impreza so after the remap she will be savage through the gears. Thankfully I upgraded to the 245 18 inch wheels riding on sticky Potenza RE 050A rubber but wheel spin is always a prob in 1st gear and when wet 2nd gear too!

She has variable service intervals which the computer determines according to the kind of driving I do. There's some technology in the car. I'm still finding buttons and having to look them up in the manual to find what they do!

The new sti looks bland beside the EVO. I'll probably go for that EVO next or a 2 year old RS4, now there's a proper car. Failing that I will get a 2 year old BMW 335 cd. Any car that returns 35 mpg and has more torque than an M5 must be amazing. Andrew Nolan (4 time former scooby sti owner) bought one and he says its completely nuts. He said its by far the fastest car he's ever had and he's had some really fast cars (tunes Sti' and FQ 340)
