Ok I know this may be old news for a lot of you but it's still one hell of a record :wazzup: I've taken this from Andy Forrest's website :icon_pray:

2008 season sees a change of spec, bodywork is widened out to 22b spec plus a further 2" !Wheels are 10x17" and running 275/40-17" tyres to fill the fat arches. A fresh new paint scheme completes the look.

The car this year has been returned to a more circuit biased spec whilst retaining full road legality, this has added a bit more weight with Ohlins suspension, heavy ARB's and big brakes, we still however managed to repeat our record breaking 9.1 second 1/4 mile run at Santa Pod whilst in circuit race trim.

2008 draws to a close and our car remains unbeaten on top speed (210.2 mph) and 1/4 mile records for a UK Subaru.

2009 and we are still breaking records !

Santa Pod Aug 09 ........ 9.04@159mph Thats 4 hundredths of a second away from an 8 second run

Scoobyshootout 2009 ........FINALLY !!!

With the car returned to drag spec for this one event, at last we break that elusive 8 second barrier !

You couldnt work out the g force without car weight and rpm at the time of acceleration.But a rough estimate using a old calculation throws up 2.2234 lateral g.
The inerita on the clutch would be huge,pushing that in alone would be hard enough.

Initially AF's cars were road legal but in the end they were pure track cars and were not road legal and were trailered to 1/4 mile runs.

I didn't know he sold this car? What's he driving now?
