8x17 / 5x100 / ET35 on GC8

In my current series of questions for item's I'm looking at for my rebuild of my RA, actually Joe is doing all the hard work
Would these fit under the arches without having any mods as the style of alloys I want only come in 8' wide.

Oh and car will be on coilovers but not slammed as will be using car all year round. Will not be a summer garage queen at all

I would think so as my last classic was on BC coilovers and low enough running speedline 8x17 Motorsport rims and had no issues of rubbing etc

Oh this is great news. Have even checked with the alloy manufacturer to see if they make slimmer wheels but on 8" and really don't want to roll the arches or any messing like that.

I went with 215/45/17 more than enough now you won't get away with it on its hole but a nice drop on the suspension should be fine

Will be at a sensible height so no concerns there. Guess I'll start saving in the new year for the alloys I really want

If there is an issue it will be with the offset. ET35 is evo or Celica offset.
An 8" ET35 on a classic impreza will rub the arches I would imagine.
