advice for turbo blanket

have chance get some new turbo blanket(not sure what brand) and few questions came up

1. its worth put it or not by your opinions?
2. car need(better) tweek map or its not important? car just after map got downpipe heat wrap plus would get turbo blanket.
3. fitment is question.as seller says the blanket fits for t25 t3 and other small or medium size turbos. my turbo is vf30. it would fit? or need look specific for vf30?
 
Not worth it really factory heat sheild is good enough .
The blankets replace the factory sheild Robbie
 
I put a DEI turbo blanket on mine when i upgraded the turbo. Im not sure the standard heatshield would fit with the new turbo
 
I recently installed a Thermal Zero turbo blanket and downpipe blanket, the kit also included an up-pipe blanket but I haven't fitted this. The subaru kit is not advertised on their website, but there is plenty of information on the american sites and for about $200 they seem like top quality parts.

It makes a big difference to under bonnet temps, specially since I had no heat shield on the turbo and it doesn't require a remap :thumbsup:
I'm not sure on the size but I think PTP have a page someplace referencing all the sizes.
