Advice on shippin to USA

Hi lads,

I've a possible buyer in the US for my vintage Marshall amp.

Can anyone advice me who'd be best to contact for shipping to the USA. Parcel is about 20kg (850mm x 380mm x 320mm) and needs to insured too.

I've used them sending stuff to UK, you get different prices and will insure too, but not sure up to what value.

Worth look anyway .

IPS (think they're around swords) have a container service to USA

Or had a few years ago. Should work out cheaper. Could advise a few airfreight agents but would imagine it would cost an arm and leg to send with them

I can get a rough cost with DHL on account Jamie when I'm back at work on Monday week if you can wait until then, will see if I could send it for you and the cost. I know it'd be astronomical if you just went on to their online calculator but company accounts have much better rates.

DHL are fine for Europe but fed ex are alot cheaper for the USA I can get ya contact details for them but it's gonna be Tuesday
 
Cheers... But fed ex where coming in substantially more expensive the DHL when I got rough qoutes yesterday.
 
We use them all at work as we ship all over the world
At the minute fedex is cheaper for the USA for us anyway maybe it's just a good deal for a corporate account
