Lads,

Does anyone know where I can get one of the car model kits that you build and paint yourself, the smaller scale ones as Ive a pain in me :mooner: trying to find them.

Cheers
Jonnie

I'd try Marks models or the model shop on Capel Street,
Mark has a place in Hawkins St & Dun Laoighre Shopping Centre.

He does Airfix and Revell kits so some of those might be what you're looking for.

You dont know which end of capel street its on mate by any chance as I work in town???

Cheers for the other ones, ill check them out.

I have a couple of boxes of tamiya 1/24 scale models but these are rally cars. imo Tamiyas are the best.

Already made:
Subaru Impreza WRC 97 Colin McRae
Toyota Corolla WRC Carlos Sainz
Peugeot 206 WRC Marcus Gronholm
Ford FOCUS WRC 99 Colin McRae.

Now in progress - Mitsu Evo 5 Tommy Makinen
can't find time to finish though.

Just a tip. Gap your glue has when you push the two bits together the glue will run along the seems. If you put a line it will over flow over the sides.

Oh and one other think. Keep your finger prints off the plastis glass as when the oil from your finger tips and the vaper from the glue mix it will smole the glass.

Cheers Duffman.
Yeah the track is pretty cool haven't been out there in a long time, tricky little things to control at full speed.
