You need to have a Garda approval so no criminal record for anything violent, a gun safe. ..plus you need to provide a valid reason for owing a gun, this usually involves being a member of a gun club or having a landowner give permission to shoot there.

You can also join a gun club and they mind the gun there for you
Don't like guns in the house :new_2gunsfiring_v1:

Just to say Animal spec c Love that one, no folks I have an over aand under Lamber in pristine cond and a CZ Bruno 22 with sight and supresser and a gun box and was wondering what kind of money I would get for them if I want to sell cheers.

Your best to just go to a Dealer and get a price off them, you are going to have to hand them in regardless of who wants to buy it, so you are going to have to grace a Gun dealers door at some stage. I personally wouldnt advertise a gun for sale, i would rely on someone you know buying or word of mouth between Gun owners,

Leaving them in to be sold is safest and easiest route.

There is a mate of mine in the market for a shotgun if you get it valued let me know and i'll say it to him, as for the rifle another mate sold one in good to excellent condition with a scope and legs but without a supressor or threaded barrel before christmas for €200 so you could prob add about €100 - €150 to that :dontknow:

go to a dealer as you will need gun serial number before getting firearm cert which can now take months they hold the gun for you. dealer in tralee closed down as people were losing interest waiting six to eight months.
