Any SKY/broadcasting Engineers?

My SKY digital has started to act up.

Basically, the channels change but I have no information coming up on screen what so ever. Also, each time I change the channel the screen goes blue for 1 or 2 seconds then the channel appears. I get on screen information of what Im watching, what channel Im on, favourites, nothing.

Is the set top box on its way out or is the viewing card broken?

I'd ring SKY but I heard its a minimum 100euro call out charge.
 
They may be able to help you over the phone. Did you try unplugging it for about 1min and plugging it back in? :dunno:
 
Could be that the dish has moved. We had to get our dish realined a couple of times cause the wind has moved it. We rang the guy who fitted it and he told us that it would be E100 for him to come out but he said if u ring sky and give out and say ure paying £££ a month and if your chorus is broken that they fix it for free and your not happy. Then they'll sent someone out for free to fix it. Worked for us :thumbsup: 8)
 
Im receiving the channels fine so the dish isnt out of line. I have a feeling its either the card or the box thats the culprit.
 
IT WORKS

I unplugged it from the mains, let it sit for a while and now it works.
