anyone ever seen these ecu's before...

right lads...i was hovering the legacy over the weekend and came across this (pic below) under the seat....
its linked up with the ecu and the light comes on when you turn the key....
think its a piggyback but not sure...has a place to plug in too so not sure can it be map'd here or what...

Its a Subaru specialist based in Japan called Prova or Eifel. They do a lot of good stuff for the Subarus including ECUs, piggybacks etc.

oh right...i wonder could anyone over here be able to plug into the ecu so to do a set up...

Looks like you have an Aftermarket Chip placed in your ECU made by Prova. I think they chip the stock ECU then put one of their stickers on it. Its probably mapped for Jap Fuel so be careful.

Or you have a full replacement ECU like this one....
