Anyone ever use Console Repair Ireland

I have a ps3 with the blueray gone again. they have a 6 month warranty,
I was talking to a friend in smiths and the lads that repair one that come into them, dont give any warranty.
could be gone in a week or a year aftre pay 120 plus postage to fix it.

he is a one man job working from a shed in the back of his house out in bray dropped a psp out to him nearly 3 years ago got it back the same as i left it with him didn't go back,
that my experience of him.

I was thinking bout doing the job ourselfs, just to find a trustworthy place to get one.
only bout 50 quid. and utube is the guide.

I can fit a new Blueray lens no bother if you order it from eBay or something. Don't stock them myself.
