Anyone recommend a hotel

Lads im going to see the chilli peppers in June at Croke Park ,
could anyone recommend a good hotel , im going by train ,
driving the next day, might not be a good idea

The Best Western Dublin Skylon Hotel is right beside it and only a short trip in a taxi from the train station. Its located on Upper Drumcondra Road, Drumcondra, D9. about 5 minutes walk from the stadium but have a look here for all the hotels in the area.

jurys croke park right across the street, and walking distance from train if connolly station.

Jury's would be ideal.

Wouldn't be thinking of walking around. Area after dark.

Dublins finest, like to lurk around those parts at night

Jurys is booked out and so are most in the area near stadium,
others are €350 for one night .................. i would prefer to spend the money on

So im thinking of booking a hotel in the city center much better priced at €150 / €170 per night.

Just wondering is it far from the city center to Croke Park , would i be waitting all night for a cab ????

no taxis are easy to come by tbh in dublin, just stand anywhere on the Quays and you'll get one. bout 5-10 mins from city centre to croker, staying in the city center would be your best bet anyway.

city centre is very walkable if you know the way wouldn't bother with a joe maxi

Drive up.

Bewley,ibis or Louis fitzgeralds place on Naas rd. get Luas into abbey st and walk up.

Few pints in town and Luas or taxi back out

Or get train up and try place beside train station. And taxi/Luas
