Anyone recommend an External USB DVD Drive

Looking for some recommendations on the above
Gotta get one for a netbook/laptop and has to be powered thru the USB cable

Get a SATA hard drive, powers off USB and can get about 500 Gig for 70-90 euro!
If u need a pen drive or flash drive any of the kingston drives are very good, get an 8 or 16 Gig, they are worth the extra bit! :)

I run my own it business, i would say just be carefull what you buy. And read reviews on what your buying, check out the warrant on it too, longer the better. Also never ever trust any hard drive for storing important data unless you back it up somewhere else. Hard drives are mechanical devices and as we all know mechanical devices fail, its just a matter of time LOL.
I find alot of people just use the external drive lets say to store the photos. And then for some reason the hard drive dies. Then all photos are gone.

Where as if they bought an external drive just to backup their laptop thats a better option.
Or buy 2. And sync both of the externals.

To be honest, it all depends on how important your data is.

Thanks all for the feedback but it was an external DVD drive I was looking for.
Anyway after doing my homework I got the Samsung Slimline.
Its a pretty neat piece of kit.

i can get slim line ones there, last time i checked they were 59 or 69 euro powered by usb and comes with power cable if needed.
i back at work tmr i will send you on more details.
