are all STi shocks pink

got a set down from the north today, and was expectin some kind of obvious STi sticker or somethin..
so how do I tell... these are all black with no pink bits, (coz I do like the odd pink bit)
is it true the v2 and v3 are all black and later ones have pink springs?????
he said they came out of a Type R but ya know yourself, mass an all that
I can forward them on either way jus wanna be sure before I do....

Yes KYB where the standard Sti Shock should say KYB Subaru on them and then a model code.
 
Yeah NK12 i think it was??? so fully black with yellow dots on 2 springs and pink and blue dots on the other 2??
are they worth puttin on, cheers
 
Sure why not the sti Shock is a bit better then the wrx one. Better on then off.
 
Probably more comfortable ride than the HKS but more than likely more body roll :dunno:
 
All depend on what type of ride you want. The STi springs and shocks are great and more then enough for the road, but if you tracking your car and demand better handling then you stay with the coil overs. My car had coilovers when I got it and I took them out going back to the original shocks with lowering springs.
 
As disscussed earlier the v5/6 sti shocks are red dampers with black springs with pink dots.
the v3/4 are black dampers. So they may be from a v3/4 sti or else a WRX.
