ATF differences (regarding power steering)

quick question about the fluid to use for the powersteering in a 2005 forester.
manual says use ATF with Dexron III. the motorfactors gave my "ATF-G".
question now, what is ATF-G? and is it suitable. there's no mention on dexron on the bottle...?

[/quote]Finol in dublin (stanaway drive crumlin) do ATF dexron if you are stuck for it, I dont know if there is a difference with ATF-G im not 100%
 
^^ haha no no we have that here in the west too LOL....
i went and exchanged it anyways to be safe. but would love to know what ATF type G is LOL
