Audi a4 engine swap tdi help

Hi lads

i recently got rid of a a4 tdi 1996

missed it so bad i bought another one , but im not happy with the power in this one ... would i be able to pop in a engine from a A4 01 +

No point in challanging it if it wnt work...

Its 90bhp but my other one seemed alot quicker mate
 
the 01 engine is completely different to the 96 engine would not be worth it wiring loom ETC just get a box for it the easiest option man check out the ads in the buy & sell hope this helps ya :thumbsup:

if the old one was 90 bhp as well and the newer one feels slower id suggest taking a look at the AFM , i had a 90 bhp tdi caddy and it was no quicker than an sdi inca until i changed the afm
