B.O.V.

Hello again lads and ladies. Pickin up the legacy early next week and thinkin of fittin a B.O.V. straight away. Can anyone recommend any quality and price wise? Dont really want the ordinary run of the mill sound-would like a sound as close to a wrc car as possible

HKS SSQ blow off valve has that high pitched tweet sound, close to the wrc, but only a wrc car will ever sound like a wrc car

Have listened to some clips of legacys with ssqvs on youtube-they seem to vary a lot-its the one that "flutters" im after-any ideas?

All depends on how you lift your foot off the gass.. They make all weird funny noises. Just depends on how fast you dump the air from the turbo.

@ B4 Soon,if you live in the dublin region i could let you listen to it in person,youtube doesnt do it justice!!!there is also special fins that you can insert into the valve to giv a different effect,theres a gold one which gives a high frequency sound echo like a supercharger and a purple one that gives a emphasised sequential sound in 2 stages....i've got the purple one on its way to me now

I know that the wrc car sound cant be replicated in a road car but i di say "as close to"! @B4_RSK might give ya a shout when i collect the car-this sensor problem is taking time-apparently a broken wire but very hard to find
