B4 primary turbo repair/replacement

Howya lads

Think my primary turbo has blown (being checked next week) so just curious if anyone knows where i could get the existing one rebuilt or would it be cheaper to replace?

Replacement be cheaper if you can find one on a breaker. Repair would be a uk job and expensive enough.

Depends how good of a wheeler dealer you are, ha ha. I would expect maybe €150 or so for a good second hand primary.

what i would say is that we normally see b4 primary turbos failures as a result of oil pressure issues where would advise changing oil pump at same time.

Im not 100% sure its a turbo failure yet, hoping its just a boost leak but im preparing myself for the worst...what sort of money would i be looking at for a primary and oil pump?
