B4 window switch recalibration sequence

guys has anyone the sequence for resetting the resistance on the window on a b4 leggy?
changed my switch, and the window does its "will go up an inch then you have to press the switch again" thing!
major annoying hahaha. cheers!

The auto "function " on the switch is broken they are not that advanced I don't think.
 
^^ thx baz, this switch was taken out of a donor car so i know that it was working as it should in the other car.
i was in MDS alarms a few days ago, guy said there's a sequence to reset the resistance in the window.
:-/ so i guess it does have that feature alright, but impossible to find online lol
 
I don't know if this will work for your car, but on a car I had before to reset it you had to bring the window down fully using the non auto part of the button then up fully using the auto. When it closed fully hold the button fully on auto for 10 seconds. It may or may not work but worth a shot anyway.
