Mate bought one the oher day and elighted with it.Thought it was a turbo but wasent.Got back onto garage who advised that they would get a twin turbo fron the north and he could get fitted.

Can this be done or what other parts would be required.Hasent got it mapp yet.He is thinking os selling the turbo when received if not handy to fit.

Thanks for all the help

The TT has higher conpression for one...stronger internals...completely different ecu..different suspension..he would need new mainfold..2 down pipes..whole new exhaust system...intercooler..totally different car mechanically

do you mean a whole TT engine or just the turbos?
evn with an engine swap you'd need a tt ecu and exhaust system..if they sold it as a B4 and its not he can claim against them for trading standards.
I'd be rightly p1ssed off

wouldnt suggest bolting the turbos on because of what Dagnut said! but if it was the whole engine then it could be done, although not sure if the transmission on the N/A car would be able to handle the torque from the TT engine, best bet is to take it back and buy a turbo car, less hassle and the car wont be an odd ball, its worth spending the little bit extra

Should get him to at least drive a proper b4 :ponder: b4 he decides to keep this one. The difference is huge mate!

He should bring it straight back. Think there's a couple of sweet ones for sale on here.

How much did he pay out of interest?
