I'll start this one off. I got done doing 146kmh on a 100kmh road yesterday(I'm not boasting just in case anyone thinks I am). The Garda that stopped me was a bit of craic.

I think he was making up for nearly giving me a seizure when he jumped out of a bush to stop me. I shat meself I tells ya. I was very lucky only getting 2 points and a €80 fine. Taught me a good lesson as well. I didnt break the limit again all the way home.

Anyone else get done?

@Kbox.did you get that ticket in kerry?

Im a regular visitor to kerry and tend to put the foot down a bit around there back roads,it would be handy to know were to keep the eye out!

I saw a bit fat ZERO on cork roads...again!!

Cops were all over the road this weekend - my girlfriends mum went thru the tollbridge on saturday night on the way to collect us from the airport, she said cops both sides of the road, pure madness.

Then girlfriends dad got breathalysed twice on Friday, once at Bray & then at Mullingar. Brother in law breathalysed in Wicklow also on Friday.

I went to Wexford on Sunday and 3 speed checks, then went to Mondello yesterday and lost count of the amount of cop cars about the place.

Must have been the biggest police presence ever this weekend just gone

sunday - i drove down around M50 and down M7 to portlaoise - no cops
then portlaoise to carlow - no cops
then back up to dublin on monday morning - no cops until we got about 5min from home and got tailgated by the feckers on the M1

i dont speed anyway, but still lots of people who arent good drivers in poor cars do

I got stopped halfway to abbeyfeale from Faranfore. I saw plenty of cops all weekend in and around Killarney

Didn't see a checkpoint all weekend. Drove from Drogheda to Knock on Sunday and can't remember even seeing a garda. Was on the M50 on Saturday evening going to Dundrum but no checkpoint while i was on it.

I past by the "Cardboard Garda car" near Kilcullen, very believable from a distance and comin back up the road to Dublin comin near Kilmaed
(really good road for letting it out a bit) a baseball cap wearing chap in a starlet was flying it about 4 cars ahead. I was flashed by a very nice
Audi driver, presses brakes!!! Guess who comes infront of me. You guest it, the cops. :p. Starlet man got pull a mile of so up the road. Beep Beep.

Went to Croker Sunday morning. My friend was driving. He was hammering it most the way no cops thank god. Went out the M50 to Blanch to collect his cousin. No sign of any :)

Between Castle Island and Abbeyfeal on the high road over the mountain.

Along the striaght past Kerry Airport coming into Faranfore.

Coming down off the high road into Abbeyfeal.

Saw a few yellow reg'd cars pulled over, and two of them being driven away by Garda.... One in Clonee and one in Blanchardstown...

Nothing more then usual from the Garda in the finglas area. Civics and Starlets on the increase. Saw a fair few flying around all weekend. Mostly in bits cars. Very load and low. I'd say the leaving certers of this year have bought themselves their first cars now that they are working.
