bbs alloys off my spec c

As above im lookin to know the proper size of my bbs alloys i use 225/45/17 tyres at the moment but dont know how wide the actuall wheel is im looking to order 888s and want exact size to get the right tyre so what are the actuall sizes i need to quote and also id like to know the width?????????thanks lads/ladies

They're 8 inches wide Alan

The tyre size you use currently is fine, the newer spec c's with the wide track run a 235 wide tyre but not necessary for you to use them.

if i used 235 brian would they be streached and be prone to come off the rim on unseal and go flat??

no that won't be a problem on 8 inch wheels...check for clearance on the front & back tyres though, make sure the extra width won't catch on anything.

i have 235/40 on mine, no problems apart from rubbing on the arch liner on full lock

seems to have loads of room upfront and courtesy of duffman i have 5mm for the back which work a treat

i have sourced a set of 235/40/17 will this make much of a difference dropping from 45 2 40??????

235's on mine as well.

Won't make much difference Al as long as all 4 tyres are 235/40.. You will get marginally quicker accelleration though
