Beers

Anyone else out there into their beers? I figured this could be a good place to exchange experiences and suggestions of good or bad beers!

I gotta recommend trying Blue Moon Beer - it's an American beer with a cloudy smooth texture and it's gorgeous . . if there's a shop near you that sells unusual beers there's a chance they might have it, if not, Redmonds of Ranelagh in Dublin and The off license opposite Superquinn in Sundrive sell it, I've noticed it popping up around different places recently.

I recently changed from drinking Bulmers that I grow up drinking to drinking Coors Light. Cann't get enough of it. Normally beer gives me a hang over so bad you promise never again :new_gmorning: but this doesn't. :xmas_cheers: :icon_jook: :icon_pidu:

Duvel is a nice beer, it's 8.5% so it's a slow drinking beer!

12.5 when you drink it in Belguim.

Hofenbrau is a nice german beer. Good place for "beer tasting" is the Bull and Castle near Christ Church.

Chimay Blue i would rate similar to Duvel, but a darker beer

Lots of Micro brewerys in Belguim, only decent thing about the country when your stuck over there for a work trip

Nice beer for wind down in the evening is "Erdinger"
There are several varieties of the brand... All Natural beers, no chemicals in any of them.

If i had to choose a favourite out of them all, I would be hard pressed to pick between the Dunkle and the Pikantus
Both a dark weisinbock (wheat) beer Dunkle is 5.6% vol Pikantus is around 7 - 7.5% as far as i remember
