brian cowan on late late

i feel sorry for him. such a time to take over the running of the country, but the clown shoul have seen it coming when he was minister for finance. but i wonder would any other political party have done any better. they are all much the same from what i see. :dontknow:
 
No body, actually predicted this was going to happen!
Everyone bangs on abour the Ex RTE finance commentator, who has now gone into politics, Saying he predicted it would all blow up on us!
Even a broken clock is right twice a day!
An Ex minister for finance is the best possible person to manage a country in financial difficulties,
There is no-one that can click there fingers and get us out of this,
As the man said, He there to do a job, He's going to get on with it,
There is no easy way out of this, they have to save money where ever they can, and have to take it from were ever they can!
If you look at it like a small company in financial difficulty,
You Freeze pay rises, drop wages, cancel pension contributions, make everyone work harder and beat the bolix out of all your suppliers, Untill things get better!
Being Self employed and employing 4 lads, (was 9 this time last year) I can empathise with the cut backs that have been impimented!

Unfortunately for Brian Cowan, Tubberty was correct when he said about "the uncanny foresite of your predisessor" Bertie knew he wasnt going to make things any better and jumped at precisely the right time. Brian Cowan in my opinion done alot to redeme himself last night. Im not a fan by any stretch of the imagination...... however he really is the best of a bad bunch.....

Fair play to him he sat there getting a battering and took every blow that was landed square on the chin..... He didnt duck dive or weave once and that is a sign of a man that will get where he needs to be to improve this country
 
what about gettin a 450 euro taxi from one side of airport to the other at heathrow or the other wild spending!!!!!
bloke is a pr1ck and hasnt a fookin clue....
any other country would have torched the prime ministers HQ by now!!!!
brace for an all time record raping in decembers budget!!!
