Brick layer/builder advice

Moving house soon and looking at knocking part of the wall to make it wide enough to fit a car in the back.

Anyone any idea how much it would cost to build the pillar back up again? Would the bricks from the existing pillar be usable or would I need new bricks?

What would a rough price be for gates, 5ft wide x 8ft tall?
 
You could reuse the bricks again depending on how easy they come off or how weak the mix is . If its a weak mix theyll clean off easy and be reuseable.
On the gates it depends what you want if its just a steel frame and sheeted then at a guess 300 or so for the pair its from there up after that depending on what your looking for
 
i am a bricklayer and i would say the bricks are hard to call until u go taking em off they could be perfect they could crack to sh*t trying to get the cement off

u could get a brickie for 100 a day no prob these days i would nt lol but no doubt people stuck for work will

d say a morning knocking and a good day putting em up they tend to be slow
