Broadband????

Loving IT

Middle Lane Hogs
We have moved house and had broadband with BT in the other house as we live in Fermanagh, the new house we have moved to, BT say we cannot get broadband there.

We have full coverage of 02 UK and Vodafone IE as we are just on the border co get both networks, does anyone here know could we get mobile broadband or do you have to have 3G coverage or is there any other way we can get it!!!!

Thanks in advance

I have 02 mobile broadband and it works perfect for me here but one of the members here only lives a few miles away and said he could get no signal at all , you will really have to be carefull which provider you choose if goin mobile as signal strenght seems to be hit and miss ,
if there is an 02 agent or simular near you ask what the coverage is like in your area ,

I sell three mobile broadband in the shop (In Dunboyne, Meath), your more than welcome to try one of the USB modems for a few days to see what its like if you want?

Thanks lads!!

Do I need to have that 3G coverage cos theirs def none were we are!!!!! Spoke to Carphone Warehouse in the north and they say we need that for to get their mobile broadband, and looking at vodafone ie website they say the same!!!

I'm raging cos I really want to have it!!!!! :angry1: :angry1:

Yeah you'll defo need 3G coverage for Broadband speeds with a mobile provider...

Maybe try a provider like Irish Broadband? Its also wireless, they install an antenna on your roof, of you can get a USB modem, called Ripwave.

I'm not 100% sorry. Probably best to give them a call

Or maybe there is something similar to it up north?

Steve.
