Most of the garages in Drogheda went up between 2 and 5c over the last couple of days, the girlfreind just text there to say the local Maxol has also just added this 4c on so a litre now is a shade off €1.40 a litre!!

worked it out there 4cent is an extra cost of €135minimum per year
[/quote]
Had a go at it myself last night:
at 10,000 miles a year and maybe 250 miles to a tank that means 40 fills. 4 cent by 55 litres a fill would be €2.20 each time so €88 extra for the year.

Pissed off with the budget and this government.
raise taxes, reduce minimum wage, no change to highest tax band,
same old same old in this kip.....rich get richer and everybody else pays for it and the people responsible get away with it.
Thank God for the election next year. This government is living on borrowed time.

Was reading this today could hardly believe it... they basically targeted the worst off in the country.
By my calculations the dole went down by roughly 8 quid but if your on minimum wage you'll lose out on around 40 quid...so with the expenses of going to work etc this is supposed to encourage people to go out and work???...so what get off the dole and get a min wage job and be worse off?
Madness.
People on minimum wage are facing an 11% pay cut.. Cowen and the other cnuts on massively inflated wages are cutting themselves 5-6%... Its not actually worth people on the dole going out and getting jobs... It'll only encourage more people to go on the dole... fooking idiots!!
