can i drive a motorbike on my driving licence

No. You used to get a restricted bike (A1) one when you passed you car test but not anymore. I think you just missed out. If you have the A1 section on your licence marked then you can but if you don't you'll have to apply for a provisional A1 and do the theory test again.

Its just another of our crazy laws.. Drive a motorbike away no problem while on a provisional but as soon as you prove your ability to drive a car and get your full licence, suddenly that means you are no longer qualified to ride a motorbike, you've to go and get a seperate licence for that.. Just crazy :cuckoo:

I agree rob just nuts where the provisional is concerned. Unfortunately he falls now int the scam of the theory test. He'll have to go and do it all again just to get the bike provisional back even though he proved he knows it by passing the car test.
