Hey guys,
I need a car electrician to look over my wiring in my car. Since day 1 I got the car, the car behaves super weird - Cigarette lighter is sending very little power and is not even getting the lighter hot enough for it to work, yet alone charge my phone.
When I turn on my lights(half and full beam) the cigarette lighter stops working completely.
When I turn on parking lights(the little button on the top of steering wheel) the lighter works. Now and this is funny - if I put phone charger into the lighter socket, my dash lights turn on - as soon as I remove it, dash lights goes off.
On top of this whole mess, which I was ignoring for last 18months since I own the car, my Turbo-timer started acting weird.
Yesterday, I had it running and then suddenly the display went black and stopped working completely, I thought it just died, but then I started driving, probably went over a bump, and it came back to live.
I think maybe some of the wiring is damaged as someone did really bad job plugging the turbotimer in for the first time - my electricity skills are however very low and I wouldnt have a clue where to look at and what to do with all those wires.
Could you recommend anyone? Doesnt need to be Subaru Specialist for as long as he will know what to do and rewire my lighter properly and fix all the funny sh*t going on.
