Chelsea vs Barcelona

what did you think of the chelsea v barcelona game, i thought chelsea played very bad and barcelona were no better, didier drogba, was a disgrace to chelsea and the fans the way he reacted at the end of the game and a few other players during the match like ballack and terry, :naughty: its going to be a good final come on man u :smile:

if you score early and try and sit back and defend for
80 mins against a side like barca your asking for trouble imo
barca looked shakey at the back chelsea should have been a bit more attack minded
and to be honest barca wernt great up front alva should have been taken off his crossing was terrible
2 cracking goals though :clap:

I didnt think Chelsea were great, Barcelona kept plugging away at them and got their just rewards for all the hard work with ten men. Two stunning goals, but Ballack and espiceally Drogba (Cnut) behaved like total hooligans, its horrible to see and just goes to show that there still are hard losers in the beautiful game. It sets up a fantastic final, cant wait for the 27th May, I know where Ill be... :icon_jook: :icon_jook: :icon_jook: and Ill be putting my money on Barca to pip United to it, as good as United are, I think its Barcas year.
 
as a very big pool supporter i guess it doesnt need to be said i wasnt rooting for chelsea.... that said i always had a soft spot for barcelona and you have to hand it to them for stickin to their guns with their flowing football.... 160 odd goals i think scored this season, most of the timethey are a joy to watch.... as for drogbas reaction... i did have to laugh... i mean this is the same guy who falls if some sneezes in the crowd and he goes down like there was an aftershock.... disgrace.... he should take a long hard look at himself....!
 
Didnt really care who won last night but chelsea should have had at least 2 peno's and drogba should have put a second away when he just had the keeper to beat... Have to say, in their position, i probably would have reacted the same way at the end of the game. They were robbed by some poor refereeing decisions... 2 great goals though, essiens goal was only savage...

United now in the final will hopefully find it easier to score against barca than they would have against chelsea, gonna be a cracking final anyway for sure...
 
Its the final everyone wanted to see, certainly the 2 best performing teams in Europe at the moment.

Although Barca are sh1te in defence, its gonna be tough for them to beat Utd.
 
As a Chelsea fan i am ....sick :icon_cry: in fairness i give drogba alot of stick for being a diving c*nt :angry1:
but i dont think that chelsea were sitting back and trying to defend i think they were just kept
on the back foot back cause you really cant do alot of attacking without the ball which chelsea never had alot of
looking back on the game chelsea should have had atleast 2 penos and abdial shouldnt have been sent off even though he was the last man back
what really pisses me off is ppl saying barca played good......bollox........
they had nearly 80% of the possesion for the whole 90 min and 0 shots on target
now im going to hide in work from all the pool and man u supporters

there is no excuse for that behaviour....its not like football has a bad enough reputation...what are they expecting the referee to do give them a penno after the match.
And to rustynuts above 80% of possession you gave up at home ..embarrassing stat for Chelsea that one not barca
 
I know it fairly embarrassing....but for one of the so called "best teams in the world" with all that possesion chelsea made them look very ordinary in attack
 
They where playing against 10 men behind the ball..at that level when the other team so no desire to come out at all it can be hard to break them down....that game for me highlighted Chelsea's short comings not barcas
 
i think chelsea should have won that game, theres was a defo peno which would have killed the game for them, but i am over the moon that diving c*nt drogba is not in the final, he is such a waiste of a man, as said above barca had 80% of the procession and not o shots like above but one that won them the game.

i think utd will win the final as they are a better all round team, as barca can defend to save there lives

whats interesting is there were 3 english teams in the semi's and with only one now in the final, i think theres only two english players that will preform in the final, ronney and ferdinand, which isint saying alot for the english game as out side the top four sides the standard of football is shite

Didnt say i condoned it but in the heat of the moment when you feel like you've just been robbed, you blame the person who's fault it is and react to it, i know i would have... and in this case it was the referee's fault... Its a natural reaction to give out and complain about a bad decision, everybody who plays competitive sport does the same in the heat of the moment.

Bollox they do..maybe when the decision is given but not after the match like that..I've played competitive sports..I played school boy football and national league basketball so don't give me that sh!t i never seen anyone run after a ref like that its a fcuking disgrace
 
Agree its a fcuking disgrace... Ballack for one has been around long enough to know he shouldnt chase the ref around like that... And that drogba cnut just made a show of himself and his club by acting that way.

Surely a pro footballer knows that the ref cant change his mind after the game... Couldnt be happier that chelsea are out, big changes in there team next season i reckon
 
Drogba is scum, always has been. He shows lack of respect for fellow professionals.

Chelsea Football Club should be ashamed of themselves.

Its going to be a great Final. With Barca missing Abidal, Dani Alves and Rafael Marquez the defence is going to be rocky. Pique gets to face his former club too.
 
It was the last fooking minute for a place in the champions league final and a dopey ref costs you your rightful place there so the final whistle was straight after the decision so therefore still raw in peoples minds!! I didnt say it was right or that i condoned the behaviour, it was bad, just that i can understand it. If it had happened 15mins before the end of the game, and their reaction was still the same, then I'd say it was a complete and utter disgrace but as it happens, that was their last real opportunity to score and regain their place in the final so when the whistle is blown you can understand they are still p1ssed.. Combine that with the fact that they should have had another 2 penalties at least starts to anger players.. I don't agree with drogba's reaction and attacking the ref in the tunnel, thats just cause he's a hypocritical cheating fookhead, but the way lampard, terry and a few others went over to the ref giving out is understandable... (still not condoning it)

I'm glad you've played competitive sports, I've played competitive rugby most if my life up until i was badly injured, we won leinster cups, leagues and I even represented leinster underage so i do know competitive sports which is why i understand the way they reacted, I never said it was right but i still understand... I do agree that it doesnt look good for the game's reputation but no1 thinks of that at the time..
