Hi guys.
I got long block close deck, with Ra heads from 1993GC RA. I already strip engine for inspection and all internal parts looks good. While Im there, Im wondering, do I should upgrade anything for future 350bhp maybe close to 400bhp ?
I will do definetly new conrods bearings and crankshaft bearings, piston rings, hone cylinder wall. Do is point to do conrods or pistons ? From my research, they are forge from factory, could someone confirm that? Do is good idea upgrade cylinder head bolts? I want go budget as possible due to another project, but if there is something what must be done, of course I will not skip. Actually Im with 97 RA stock open deck running 280 and 340bhp on link ecu and car is running perfectly fine, but I like to be ready for unexpected and if this engine fail one day, I want have another one ready to go. For all advise, thanks guys!
