Commercial Van Wanted...Now Sorted

Cousin of mine is looking for a small commercial van, citroen berlingo, transit connect or the likes.

Looking to pay upto €4.5k but he doesn't have a vat number so that figure will have to include vat.

Anybody with something good lying around, he could go to the auctions & pick something up but thought he'd try buying privately first.

Mate of mine has a citroen berlingo there 05 mint ill know he was selling it ill buzz him tomorrow :thumbsup:

Brian lad here in town has mint 04 berlingo red low milles
Roof rack ply lined looking for 3 grand for it like new

Alan (555 scooby) pointed out last night theres a load of '07 ex An Post vans for sale with modest mileage for small money so I've sent him that way. If he can't find a decent one he'll be back searching again

be very carefull of the an post ones i used to work in a citroen main dealer and they got unbelievable abuse alot of them needed gearboxes turbos etc and the body work was usually fairly bad aswell

I heard some of the ones down this way had a hard life too but maybe a city one might not be too bad?

luck of the draw in an auction....could easily pick up a gem either!!!
french vans(renault,pugeot and citreon) are very soft IMO..
get a cheap transit connect up north and 50 notes to import(i think its still the price) :ponder2:

Was looking at a transit connect myself fook all room in the back.
Got a lend of a peugeot expert found it to be great and fast.

might be a bit big m8 but my brother is selling his 04 transporter 1.9tdi. full years doe. 72000 genuine miles. never carried any big loads €4500 ono 0879719476 :thumbsup:

brian if he is going to look at a transit connect be wary they are hard on fuel for what they are
 
Sorry lads should have stuck up an update post.

He's sorted now, picked up a '08 van with a small amount of crash damage that was repaired for him so he's happy out...for a lot less than he was expecting to pay
