connect laptop to tv

im looking to connect my laptop to my tv. the tv has the usual hdmi and rca inputs. ive seen other laptops that have a hdmi connection on them specifically for this but mine does not. is there any way i can do it via usb or the small 15 pin connector on the side?

i have mine connected through a vga lead(15 pin)..quailty is fine..tv is 1080hd

you need a dvi lead -hdmi lead

thats how i do mine

dvi - vga lead is what I use... although my tv is HD ready its the older version so you'll prob need a dvi - hdmi lead (think thats right)
