Hi guys just wondering would this be normal?colour is like rust. Plus I only noticed that my coolant is dropped a lot. No leak or anything underneath the engine and car is not overheating. Im new to the platform so looking for advice on this.

Thanks
Joe

Maybe a coolant flush would be a good idea..
Check all, and I mean ALL of your coolant hoses and check all clamps are tight. The coolant hoses(rubber) can perish and become heat cycled. May be a good idea to consider getting a silicone hose kit for your car.
Someone else maybe able to give you more advice, I'm not a greasy monkey, sorry mechanic 😃.
Fill her up , and check continuously over the course of a few days and see if your losing coolant somewhere.

have a sniff around the engine bay after a good drive and check for a coolant smell, could be a pin hole/split in a hose somewhere that you can't see..

Thanks. I'll try flushing it tomorrow. And shouldn't the coolant be green? or pink?

Thanks

Some don’t mix but if you get Prestone brand it’ll mix it’s whatever’s left in there

No it’s green 👍 open the bottom rad hose and and put a hose in the top of the rad and and the expansion tank And refill wity prestone coolant . Can be premixed or consecrated and mix it yourself . If mixing yourself go 50/50👍👍

ill probably need to flush it then as there's pink coolant in it lol. previous owner said it was flushed by LARKIN but put pink instead of green. lol
