Ohhhh my eyes, its hurts just to look at it. Thankfully everyone got out OK.

Nasty....

You must have hit that telephone pole at some pace. It's sticking out from nearly the middle of the car.

The tires look a bit bald, might have been the cause.
 
I can't view the pics in work (restricted) but sorry to hear this Scruff, looked a lovely motor when you bought it. Hopefully its repairable.

What happened - back broke away or understeer?

You got it in one. It was my birthday last week and the wifeeey got a Subaru STi wagon cake made for me. Completely destroyed it.
 
Jeazsus Scruff ya had me going there!was waiting for the tread to open and was thinking all sorts(the poor felly only recently bought it)

I was just about able to eat one slice of the cake.Soooooo filling. Unfortunately its gone to the body shop for repairs. :p
