Decated downpipe

So I am not sure whether to put this here or into Mapping question, but here it goes,

I am getting decat for my non-mapped stock WRX, and my question is, can I install the decat right away and drive it till I get to map it, or should I just wait with install?

will that have any negative effects on the performance or health of the car if I put the decat there right away?

far as i was told yes you can drive just stay off boost in worst case a little boost but no full boost runs.and map car asap

Irish cars you can I was told before
just won't get full potential
but still some increase
drove mine like that for 3 years and did track days never a issue
