i had a thought during the week, cos i was bord.
so i went looking for an engine for the 306,
i came across a crowd in the uk that had stats up for all the peugeot engines.
so the one i fancyed the power of was the 407 2.7 v6 hdi 204bhp standard,
and if the mapped it, it would be 250bhp and 550ish torque, they say.
which in a 306 would be savage, apart from driveshafts and gearboxs popping. (havent figured that one out yet)

so i priced the engine plus post, 2,500 sterling :eek7:
i dont even know if it would fit in or nothing or even who would do it.
not that its going to be done anytime soon.

id love a diesal that would keep up to a scooby. something different. :ponder2:
 
Allard engineering and JBS in the UK are doing great big bhp conversions with Golf deisels,
If you want a spin of my golf, you are very welcome, she's the GTTDI 150, exhaust, panel filter and remap and she's 200bhp now!

Where are you based,
I just realised my forester is in getting the engine build at the moment untill next week!
So I wont have my Scooby for the night meet, So I'll be attending in my Golf,
