Diesel Estate WANTED... CHANGE OF PLAN!

Howdy all,

Looking for a cheapish diesel estate... preferably German... no bigger than 2 litre and in reasonable nick!

Budget probably won't allow much newer than 2002-3!

Ideally a Passat... or similiar! I know... popular yokes and hens teeth!

If you know of any going cheap... gis a shout!

Right all... Change of plan. Looked at a few cheap high mileage diesels that are bout 9-10 years old and the maitenenace costs will probably out-weight the saving made on good fuel economy!

Gonna look for a Focus 1.4 or 1.6 Zetec.... 99/00. Must be 3 door and have some NCT! Hopefully, sould be reasonably economical and certainly cheaper on tax.

If anyone knows of any for sale at the 1500-2000k mark will you let me know?
