Door not opening from outside (99 Clio)

Did anyone have this problem ? Our front door will only open from the inside and when the door closes the lock goes back down. :ponder2:
 
That or the one of the bars attached to the handle has popped out of the

plastic holder or it has broken.

Best to take off the inside door car and check.

Fiddly job, and a bit awkward.

(Mrs used to have one, good auld Clio :) )

Got sorted after it was the lock on the door it was not turning back when a key was used to lock the door.
i put it back to the right position and all is working perfect again.
