hi lads my engine management light has come on in my 03 Legacy and if I drive it on a high revs it goes off and when I stop it comes back on can anyone tell me what mite be up with it thanks

That's something exhaust and heat related I'd guess one of the sensors on your exhaust system I'd guess. But your best to get her plugged in to find out.

thanks lad I'll get my mate to plug it in tomorrow see what it comes up with
 
Could be picking up knock from crap juice or fault knock sensor
Best to get it in and get it read and see
 
I had a similar problem with my impreza. The heater cct was dead in the pre cat sensor so the car ran a little lumpy on start up because the heater in the not warming the sensor which is the one that has inputs to the Ecu whereas the post cat is just diagnostic. When the engine was at temp it was all good and she ran fine. I had to change it out. It was the more expensive of the 2 sensors but cleared the problem straight away. Maybe you could get it checked. I think good garages can do a cct check on the sensor before you change it out. There a couple of hundred euro.

thanks lad I will bring it and get it checked but I will just have to get it done it's doing my head in
