Engine oil for my 98 Impreza STI

Hi ,i was recommended Motul oil for my engine and i ordered oil from a motor factor's thinking it was Motul ,there was a mistake made and i have recieved Mobil oil instead of Motul :wall: .
the oil i got is Mobil fully synthetic 15W-50 motor oil, Would this oil be ok to use in my 1998 Impreza STI?? :dunno:
 
Ya it'll be perfect.

Mobil 1 15W50 or Motul 15W50 are the only oils I'd put in the engine. Some people differ but I say the vast majority here use either of those.

they haven't stocked the 5 litre one for a while, well the one in limerick haven't anyway, one had the 1 litre for €22.
maybe there stocking it again.

Castrol 10w60 , is another great oil, i use it myself, the only bad thing about it is that it comes in 4Lt cans, a full oil change with new filter takes about 4 and a half Lts. If you buy 2 cans to start with the second can will top you up for a few services
