Good evening all, I am just looking for some information as I have ran out of ideas. I have a SG 2007 Subaru Forester 2.0 petrol. It's been in the family since new so I have a real connection to it which might be weird but hey. I have tried to get it through the NCT since last year with no luck. There have been so many issues that ive been fixing myself. I have been in and out of hospital so most of the time I can never get the retest done in time. Finally today it has only flagged up on the emissions. I brought it to an "exhaust specialist" last week to have a look. He could find nothing wrong but was blaming the secondary air system fault. This has been on the car since 2017 which it never failed on. I put half a bottle of Diptene yesterday and gave it a good run. I was thinking of bringing to the dealer as a last resort but unsure they can sort it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
