well lads i got a new blitz nur spec r exhaust fitted with hks ssqv dumpvalve and i was told it was gonna be loud but fook me loud cant describe the looks i was getting on the way home :lol: , this thing really says your driving something modified, cant thank george from gt performance enough for ordering these along with some other parts for fitting, :thumbsup: , and thanks yogi for your input and pictures, i also know damo loves the nur spec and cant wait to sit in the back on a 80mph spin :lol: :lol: ,

@ norris, i was nearly getting paranoid with all the looks i was getting so i guess its only a matter of time before that happens :(
 
Did you get the bung with it ? After a few days your ear's will stop bleading and you wont hear a thing :thumbsup:
 
@keith, i got the bung but i heard they give a bad vibration :dunno: , not that i'd notice being tone deaf :lol:

it rattles more then it vibrates, mainly because it has only one bolt holding it in place, easy solution is to drill another hole at the top and stick another nut and bolt in it. as someone else said your ears will bleed on a log journey, when i got back from the waterford meet a had one hell of a headache. 
 
I cant wait to hear one of these exhausts at the next meet, I've heard so much about them. Not sure how much louder I would want my car though, I have a straight through Tornado system and my girlfriend can hear me coming from half a mile away (plenty of time to get the other fella out of my bed) :D

I live next to a Garda station too. They love me...

You'd be surprised how much fun you can have with one in small towns though. I made an old lady say "f*ck" and made numerous people jump towards walls.

When you get the revs up there is a lovely rasp off them. Really weird to hear a flat 4 rasp. Get it best with the back windows open and passing a wall.

Ya, Damo was subjected to a mapping session in the back of mine with one. Lucky guy... So loud you can't talk on you phone.. Borderlining intercom loud... Happy days..

They are seriously tooooooooo loud.........................

and yes it is possible............... can hardly take a phone call between 3-4k revs with all the windows up.....

lovin it.mine is only a weekend warrior but have a huge hks system.there is hardly a bend in it and god do i love it.i have that rasp ye talk about.i was off the head excited when i first heard it.never heard it before and it still makes me smile.
 
jesus, starting to get a few queer looks now from the neighbours, might have to push it down the road in the mornings before i start it for work , the missus wont even get in it now because of all the attention its bringing :lol: :lol: , but its one of the best upgrades i have got for the scoob so far, so no regrets,
 
just an update to this post. this exhaust has set of TWO car alarms today that were parked at the front of my house while i was driving in and to see if it really was from my car i drove back out an hour later and it happened again :shock:, neighbours really love me now :angry: :angry:
